Job Requirements

  • Continuous walking and other means of mobility up to 8 hours a day
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push/pull and frequently lift/move up to 30 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a food production environment
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Creative mindset with a passion for developing new recipes and menu items
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan and create diverse and appealing menus that meet customer preferences and dietary requirements
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring food quality, presentation, and safety standards are met
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control to optimize profitability
  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations in the kitchen
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu development
