Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in culinary arts
- ServSafe certification and/or Food Manager's license
- high school diploma or equivalent
- able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- working knowledge of food preparation methods and terminology
- three years experience as a culinary supervisor in the food industry
- ability to effectively lead and develop cooks, dishwashers and waitstaff
- willingness to travel regularly to all Walker Methodist communities in St. Paul and Minneapolis
Job Qualifications

- bachelor's degree in culinary arts preferred
- culinary supervisor experience in assisted living or long-term care environment preferred
- cook-to-order and restaurant-style dining experience preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality meals according to therapeutic diets and preferences
- manage food orders and inventory
- ensure customer service satisfaction
- adhere to budget guidelines
- supervise cooks and kitchen staff
- travel regularly to Walker Methodist communities in St. Paul and Minneapolis
- maintain compliance with food safety standards
