Job Requirements

  • Must have ServSafe certification or be willing to acquire within 90 days
  • Basic math skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft applications
  • Must possess problem solving and leadership skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Qualifications

  • Basic math skills and comfortable using Microsoft applications
  • Good problem solving and time leadership skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Vocational, technical training, education, or degree preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Cooking experience in a similar environment preferred
  • Scratch cooking experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Handle and prepare food safely following policies and infection control and safety standards
  • Ensure timely production and meal service is provided to residents
  • Set up line service
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and work area after each use
  • Assist with special events
  • Assist Culinary Director with supervision and training of culinary staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned and directed
