Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older
- 0 to 1 year experience
- obtain MN Food Safety-Sanitation certification within 90 days or Certified Food Protection Manager certification within 90 days
Job Qualifications
- 0 to 1 year experience
- must be 18 years or older
- MN Food Safety-Sanitation certification within 90 days or Certified Food Protection Manager issued by the State of Minnesota within 90 days
- vocational school technical training or associate degree in food service preferred
- 1 to 3 years experience preferred
- working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare food according to standardized recipes
- cook foods to specified temperatures
- ensure products meet temperature and quality standards
- weigh and measure ingredients accurately
- use correct portioning utensils
- assemble food within specified time frames
- provide meal service in a timely manner
- prepare bakery items per standardized recipes
- complete daily preparation sheet tasks accurately
- assist with special events
- supervise kitchen staff in supervisor's absence
- manage daily kitchen operations without the supervisor
- provide resident and guest customer service during supervisor's absence
- communicate feedback from residents and guests about meal quality
