Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of professional cooking or culinary experience
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 10 am to 6 pm
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage budgeting and inventory
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a mental health treatment environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience in curation of menus
- Passion for the field of mental behavioral health
- Culinary certification or formal culinary education preferred
- Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary restrictions
- Ability to manage kitchen operations and staff
- Experience with budgeting and supply chain management
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Curate menus that meet a broad range of dietary needs including vegetarian vegan gluten-free dairy-free low-sodium
- Develop and maintain culinary and equipment budget for department
- Manage menu planning supply ordering kitchen maintenance and sanitation standards
- Oversee nutritional needs of adolescents and young adults while maintaining dietary needs and exciting taste buds
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with clinical staff to meet patient dietary requirements
- Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily kitchen operations
