Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a chef or cook
  • Knowledge of dietary requirements and food safety standards
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
  • Ability to manage kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Ability to collaborate with clinical teams

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in menu curation
  • Familiarity with dietary restrictions and nutritional needs
  • Culinary arts or related education preferred
  • Passion for mental and behavioral health
  • Ability to manage budgets and kitchen operations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Enjoyment of cooking and creativity in recipe development

Job Duties

  • Curate menus that meet a broad range of dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, low-sodium
  • Develop and maintain culinary and equipment budget for department
  • Manage menu planning, supply ordering, kitchen maintenance, and sanitation standards
  • Oversee nutritional needs of adolescents and young adults while maintaining dietary needs and exciting taste buds
  • Prepare meals that align with therapeutic goals and dietary restrictions
