Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • minimum two years culinary or related work experience
  • advanced culinary knowledge
  • ability to supervise and motivate staff
  • proficiency in operating kitchen equipment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work varied schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or culinary school or equivalent experience
  • minimum two years culinary or related work experience
  • advanced culinary knowledge
  • supervisory experience preferred
  • average proficiency in reading, writing, and oral English

Job Duties

  • Participates in the preparation of food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, completes mise en place and sets up stations for meal services
  • starts food items prepared ahead of time without overproduction
  • trains, motivates, disciplines, and supervises kitchen employees ensuring cultural and core standards are met
  • operates, maintains, and cleans kitchen equipment properly
  • dates food containers, rotates perishables, checks pars, and manages shift preparation and storage
  • controls food waste, loss, and usage in line with policies
  • works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • assists in prep work of vegetables and condiments as needed
