Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory culinary role
  • experience in banquet cooking and large-scale food production
  • ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a dynamic work environment
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced setting

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of supervisor or sous chef experience
  • solid banquet cooking experience
  • demonstrated confidence in large-scale food production and organization
  • ability to work effectively in multi-outlet food and beverage environments
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • passion for culinary excellence and creativity
  • knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Duties

  • prepare, cook, and present food in alignment with quality standards, productivity goals, cost controls, and forecast needs
  • ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation standards while fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • assist the Executive Chef and Banquet Chef with managing the kitchen staff including cooks and other personnel
  • oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • monitor production flow and product quality to maintain efficiency and excellence
  • train, supervise, support, schedule and evaluate kitchen staff to ensure optimal performance
  • provide strong leadership and foster teamwork among the culinary team
  • encourage creativity and passion for culinary excellence within the team
  • ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations in conjunction with ECOSURE
  • uphold Hilton's commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • maintain a customer-focused approach to ensure satisfaction and quality service
