Job Requirements
- Work requires a minimum of five years restaurant experience including exposure to all facets of the field, i.e., steakhouses and Italian cuisines
- work requires a minimum of two years supervisory experience
- work requires the ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time
- work requires a neat appearance with good personal hygiene
- work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner
- must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- must be able to lift, pull, or push 25 lbs
- must be able to twist, bend, or reach with no significant boundaries
- this position may be exposed to a smoke-filled environment

Job Qualifications
- Minimum of five years restaurant experience including exposure to steakhouses and Italian cuisines

Job Duties
- Supervise and guide all bake shop employees
- assist in completion of all bake shop orders
- assume responsibility for the bake shop in the absence of the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine
- ensure product preparation meets quality standards
- assist in compliance with hotel and state health standards
- review orders and inform staff of requested products and deadlines
- complete inventory and recommend products to be ordered
- provide stock information to Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine
- correct improperly prepared items
- approve daily payroll sheets in absence of executive pastry chef
- spot check preparation procedures for quality and accuracy
- prepare special orders for VIP customers in absence of executive pastry chef
