Job Requirements

  • must have a minimum of A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • must have culinary or kitchen management experience
  • must have catering experience
  • must have experience in high volume foodservice operations
  • must possess knowledge of food cost controls and sanitation standards
  • must be computer literate including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • must be willing to participate in client satisfaction programs
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. or equivalent experience
  • some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience
  • high volume, complex foodservice operations experience
  • institutional and batch cooking experience
  • comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
  • ServSafe certified

Job Duties

  • assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
  • assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • supervise hourly associates
  • oversee preparation and cooking of various food items
  • ensure sanitation and quality standards are met
