Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in similar sous or senior role
- ability to work full time Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- ability to supervise and coordinate kitchen staff
- knowledge of corporate, state and federal food safety regulations
- ability to handle high-volume food production
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- ability to interact professionally with customers
- adherence to sanitation and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in similar sous or senior culinary role
- professional culinary experience with a variety of cuisines
- experience in high-volume food production environments
- strong team supervision skills
- ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- knowledge of inventory and supply management
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
- supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and performance reviews
- stores food in designated areas following all food safety and sanitation procedures
- ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures
- maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
- cleans workstations thoroughly
- interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
- tracks product production, consumption, and waste
- informs supervisor when supplies or product are low
- performs other duties as assigned
