Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous scratch cook experience making fresh food
  • ability to work full-time or part-time schedules including rotating weekends
  • ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
  • willingness to comply with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Previous scratch cook experience
  • experience supervising kitchen staff
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • ability to manage kitchen operations in absence of Executive Chef
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and participating in reviews
  • stores food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation before leaving
  • interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner, relaying relevant information to supervisor
  • monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, tracks production, consumption and waste, and informs supervisor when supplies or product are low
