Job Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Culinary or kitchen management experience
- Ability to work in high volume, fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of cost control and food safety regulations
- Experience with catering and menu development
- Proficiency with computers and relevant software
- Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
Job Qualifications
- A.S. degree or equivalent culinary experience
- Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Catering experience is a plus
- Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
- Knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
- Comprehensive knowledge of food trends, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Email, and Internet
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures
- Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- Produce and execute catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams
- Supervise hourly cooking and kitchen staff
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards
- Support inventory management and ordering processes
