Job Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts
- Experience in culinary or kitchen management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation
- Ability to manage and supervise kitchen staff
- Skilled in menu planning and food preparation
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
Job Qualifications
- A.S. or equivalent experience
- Some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Catering experience preferred
- Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
- Institutional and batch cooking experience helpful
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
- Familiarity with quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Email, and Internet
- ServSafe certified preferred
- Effective team leadership and communication skills
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures for the account
- Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- Produce and execute catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
- Supervise hourly associates
- Develop daily menu items and oversee their preparation and garnishment
- Participate in client satisfaction programs and activities
