Job Requirements
- Education equivalent to A.S. degree or relevant culinary experience
- Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Ability to manage cost controls and culinary operations
- Proficient with computers and software applications
- Ability to supervise and train kitchen staff
- Must be willing to engage with client satisfaction initiatives
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- A.S. or equivalent experience
- Some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Catering experience a plus
- Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
- Institutional and batch cooking experience helpful
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, E-mail and Internet
- Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures for the account
- Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- Produce and execute catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
- Supervise hourly associates as needed
- Ensure food preparation and garnishment meet company standards
- Participate in client satisfaction programs and activities
