Job Requirements

  • Minimum education level of A.S. or equivalent experience
  • progressive experience in culinary or kitchen management
  • must be able to manage high volume foodservice operations
  • proven ability to assist with menu planning and cost control
  • proficiency in computer use including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction activities
  • certification in food safety such as ServSafe preferred

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience preferred
  • experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
  • comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
  • proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures for the account
  • assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • supervise hourly associates and maintain quality standards
  • assist with ordering and inventory management
  • ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards
