Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven culinary experience
  • bilingual in Spanish and English
  • ability to conduct bilingual presentations
  • ability to multitask and adapt to changes
  • strong interpersonal and teaching skills
  • knowledge of food handling and safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Design menus for group demonstrations and community programs
  • conduct hands-on cooking workshops for community participants
  • collaborate with dietitians to create nutritional meal plans
  • deliver presentations and training sessions in both Spanish and English
  • lead cooking demonstrations with cultural competence and sensitivity
  • ensure food handling, storage, and sanitation compliance
  • adapt cooking preparation to meet varying program needs
