Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years cooking experience preferred
- ability to work early morning shifts
- must pass health and safety inspections
- able to communicate effectively in English
- physically able to perform kitchen duties
- willing to work weekends and variable shifts
- adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
- able to move intermittently throughout the work day
- meets general health requirements of the facility
- able to perform job-related functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- 5 years cooking experience preferred

Job Duties
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment including all supplies and equipment
- adhere to the work schedule
- assist other kitchen staff with meal preparation
- serve residents and their guests in a friendly, timely, and courteous manner
- assist in cleaning dining rooms following meal service
- prep materials for the next shift
- wash dishes
- assist with special events within the facility
- prepare special orders from residents and their guests
