Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of three years culinary management experience
  • proficiency in inventory management and purchasing
  • strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to manage food cost and budgeting
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • passion for sustainability in food service

Job Qualifications

  • working knowledge of HACCP
  • three years culinary management experience in contract foodservice or fine dining or restaurant settings
  • knowledge of food and catering trends
  • experience with inventory and purchasing control
  • proficiency in food cost controls and sanitation practices
  • knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • manage full culinary operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • oversee menu development and cost controls
  • source and utilize local food products with focus on sustainability
  • maintain food safety compliance including HACCP standards
  • supervise kitchen staff and ensure high standards of sanitation and food presentation
  • control food costs and monitor P&L accountability
  • engage in exposition cooking and incorporate contemporary food trends
