Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years culinary management experience
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices
  • Experience with inventory control and purchasing
  • Ability to manage P&L and contract services
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for sustainability

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • Minimum three years culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant environment with purchasing and inventory control
  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract management
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage culinary operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Develop and implement menus with focus on cost control and local sourcing
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Monitor P&L responsibilities and track contract service performance
  • Lead culinary staff and promote sustainability practices
  • Oversee food production, presentation, and quality control
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to enhance guest experience
