Job Requirements

  • must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant setting
  • ability to manage inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices including HACCP
  • familiarity with menu development and cost control
  • capacity to oversee p&l accountability
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • working knowledge of HACCP
  • three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge
  • extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • experience with exposition cooking
  • knowledge of p&l accountability and contract-managed service experience
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving
  • knowledge of p&l accountability and contract-managed service experience
  • proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
  • possesses a passion for sustainability
  • ensuring compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
  • leading and managing culinary staff
  • delivering consistent quality in food production and presentation
