Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of three years culinary management experience
  • proven experience in menu development and cost controls
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • ability to manage inventory and purchasing
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends if required

Job Qualifications

  • working knowledge of HACCP
  • three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing control
  • extensive knowledge of food and catering trends including quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • experience with exposition cooking
  • knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • oversee all foodservice operations in the manufacturing facility
  • manage multiple food stations including grill, salad bar, pizza/Italian, deli, and hot entree stations
  • develop diverse and engaging menus focusing on hearty, home-style, balanced and visually appealing meals
  • coordinate and execute catering events with elevated presentation and professional service
  • ensure smooth daily kitchen and café operations across multiple shifts
  • maintain food quality standards and customer service excellence
  • coordinate weekend operations including full café service or limited menus as required
