Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or culinary certification preferred
- Minimum three years culinary management experience
- Experience with inventory management and purchasing
- Knowledge of contract food service operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for sustainability practices
Job Qualifications
- Working knowledge of HACCP
- Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice or restaurant/fine dining setting
- Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends
- Experience with exposition cooking
- Understanding of food cost controls and sanitation practices
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Full culinary management of food service operation including inventory, ordering and receiving
- Oversee menu development with emphasis on local food sourcing
- Implement cost control measures and purchasing strategies
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards
- Manage team performance and training
- Monitor P&L accountability and contract compliance
- Promote sustainability initiatives within culinary operations
