Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or culinary certification preferred
  • Minimum three years culinary management experience
  • Experience with inventory management and purchasing
  • Knowledge of contract food service operations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for sustainability practices

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice or restaurant/fine dining setting
  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • Understanding of food cost controls and sanitation practices
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Full culinary management of food service operation including inventory, ordering and receiving
  • Oversee menu development with emphasis on local food sourcing
  • Implement cost control measures and purchasing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards
  • Manage team performance and training
  • Monitor P&L accountability and contract compliance
  • Promote sustainability initiatives within culinary operations
