Job Requirements
- Education or equivalent experience in culinary management
- Minimum of three years culinary management in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant environments
- Proficient in inventory, purchasing, and cost control management
- Ability to implement and maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion for sustainability and local food sourcing
Job Qualifications
- Working knowledge of HACCP
- Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings
- Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, and cost control
- Experience with exposition cooking
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service operations
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Manage culinary and food service operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
- Ensure P&L accountability and efficient contract-managed service operations
- Develop menus focusing on cost control and utilization of local food products
- Implement and maintain sustainability practices within the kitchen and food service
- Oversee food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with HACCP
- Lead a culinary team ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and production
- Monitor and control purchasing and inventory to optimize costs and reduce waste
