Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years culinary experience in a similar role
  • ServSafe certification or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings
  • Ability to perform physical tasks required in a kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • Three or more years of culinary experience preferably in corporate dining or made-to-order environments
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a kitchen setting
  • Strong culinary skills with the ability to design and execute diverse, wellness-focused menus
  • Ability to operate independently and manage all aspects of café operations
  • Knowledge of food safety standards with ServSafe certification required or obtained upon hire
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Experience with pre-order or kiosk-driven foodservice models preferred
  • Background in café-style or fast-casual made-to-order environments preferred
  • Familiarity with corporate dining standards and client-facing service preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and execute all menu offerings including weekly featured salads and sandwiches
  • Prepare daily soup, breakfast specials, and made-to-order items based on guest pre-orders
  • Maintain a wellness-oriented and diverse menu aligned with client expectations
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Oversee all day-to-day café operations as a sole operator
  • Manage ordering, inventory control, product rotation, and vendor relationships
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and corporate standards
  • Deliver excellent customer service to corporate guests
  • Maintain an organized, efficient workspace to support fast-paced made-to-order operations
  • Communicate effectively with clients and guests to address needs and feedback
  • Manage all operational documentation including production records, temperature logs, and ordering reports
  • Monitor budget guidelines consistent with fee-based account parameters
  • Coordinate with leadership on menu updates, promotions, and program enhancements
