Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant environments
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Solid working knowledge of HACCP
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in menu planning and inventory management
  • Commitment to sustainability and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • ServSafe certification
  • Minimum of 3 years culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant environments
  • Solid working knowledge of HACCP
  • Mastery of food and catering trends including quality, presentation, sanitation, production, and cost control
  • Experience with exposition-style cooking
  • Strong understanding of profit and loss accountability

Job Duties

  • Oversee culinary operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Utilize profit and loss knowledge to support operational and financial goals
  • Develop innovative and cost-effective menus
  • Lead purchasing and inventory management strategies
  • Promote sustainability and use of fresh, local ingredients
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP and ServSafe
  • Manage culinary staff and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
