Job Requirements
- minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- at least three years of culinary management experience
- familiarity with HACCP protocols
- experience in contract foodservice or fine dining environments
- ability to manage inventory purchasing and cost controls
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- working knowledge of HACCP
- three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice fine dining or restaurant settings
- extensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality production sanitation food cost controls and presentation
- experience with exposition cooking
- knowledge of profit and loss accountability and contract managed service experience
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Job Duties
- full culinary management of food service operation including inventory ordering and receiving
- knowledge of profit and loss accountability and contract-managed service experience
- proficient in menu development cost controls purchasing and inventory with focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
- possess a passion for sustainability
- ensure compliance with food safety standards including HACCP
- manage kitchen staff and supervise food preparation and presentation
- maintain high standards of sanitation and customer service
