Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience in culinary management or supervisory role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to obtain SERV Safe certification if not already certified
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to engage and manage kitchen staff effectively

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience in a culinary management or supervisory role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Culinary arts degree desired
  • SERV Safe certification or willing to become certified
  • HACCP knowledge required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and production systems preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to drive employee engagement

Job Duties

  • Manage production for retail and catering and assist with patient production at times
  • Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise coordinate all related culinary activities
  • Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
  • Select and develop recipes as well as standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
  • Establish presentation technique and quality standards and plan and price menus
  • Ensure proper equipment operation maintenance and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
  • Oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and or demonstrations of culinary techniques
