Job Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in culinary management or supervisory role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Willingness to obtain SERV Safe certification if not already certified
- Knowledge of HACCP principles
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to engage and manage kitchen staff effectively
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in a culinary management or supervisory role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Culinary arts degree desired
- SERV Safe certification or willing to become certified
- HACCP knowledge required
- Experience with Microsoft Office and production systems preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to drive employee engagement
Job Duties
- Manage production for retail and catering and assist with patient production at times
- Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise coordinate all related culinary activities
- Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
- Select and develop recipes as well as standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
- Establish presentation technique and quality standards and plan and price menus
- Ensure proper equipment operation maintenance and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
- Oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and or demonstrations of culinary techniques
