Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- at least 2 years experience in culinary management or supervisory role
- serv safe certification or willingness to become certified
- HACCP knowledge required
- ability to work in a healthcare environment
- strong leadership and communication skills
- basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
- ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

- experience with Microsoft Office and production systems preferred
- strong customer service skills and ability to drive employee engagement
Job Duties
- manage production for retail and catering and assist with patient production at times
- train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise and coordinate all related culinary activities
- estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
- select and develop recipes as well as standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
- establish presentation technique and quality standards and plan and price menus
- ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
- oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and or demonstrate culinary techniques
