Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of culinary management experience
- Experience in contract foodservice or fine dining environment
- Proven ability in inventory management and purchasing
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage P&L and budget controls
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Working knowledge of HACCP
- Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation
- Experience with exposition cooking
- Knowledge of P&L accountability in contract-managed services
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Manage full culinary operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
- Oversee food service operation with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Develop menus with attention to cost control and local sourcing
- Implement and monitor food safety standards including HACCP
- Manage purchasing, inventory control and cost management
- Foster sustainability practices within the culinary operations
- Lead, motivate, and train kitchen and food service staff
