Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year management experience
  • Prior food production experience with restaurants and/or healthcare food service
  • Knowledge of special diets is helpful
  • Ability to supervise and train staff
  • Proficiency with computer systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Oversee the daily kitchen operations including menu planning and food ordering
  • Ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality
  • Be hands on and have the ability and willingness to develop and train employees
  • Maintain knowledge of Food Management Systems and software
  • Manage kitchen staff performance and scheduling
  • Monitor food safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance resident dining experience
