Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts or related field
  • Minimum of three years culinary management experience
  • Proven experience in inventory, ordering, and purchasing control
  • Ability to manage P&L and contract managed services
  • Knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for sustainability

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings
  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends
  • Strong skills in inventory and purchasing control
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • Knowledge of profit and loss accountability
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Full culinary management of food service operation including inventory, ordering and receiving
  • Manage profit and loss accountability
  • Develop menus with focus on cost control and sourcing local food products
  • Oversee food production, sanitation, and presentation standards
  • Lead and train culinary and food service staff
  • Implement sustainability practices within the kitchen and food operations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including HACCP standards
