Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum three years culinary management experience
  • knowledge of inventory management
  • experience in purchasing and cost controls
  • understanding of food safety standards
  • ability to lead and manage a team
  • strong communication skills
  • passion for sustainability

Job Qualifications

  • working knowledge of HACCP
  • three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
  • extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • experience with exposition cooking
  • knowledgeable in profit and loss accountability and contract-managed service
  • ServSafe certified is a plus

Job Duties

  • full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving
  • knowledge of profit and loss accountability and contract-managed service experience
  • proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
  • possess a passion for sustainability
  • supervise and lead culinary staff and associates
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • maintain quality and presentation of all food items
