- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum three years culinary management experience
- knowledge of inventory management
- experience in purchasing and cost controls
- understanding of food safety standards
- ability to lead and manage a team
- strong communication skills

Job Qualifications
- working knowledge of HACCP
- three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
- extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- experience with exposition cooking
- knowledgeable in profit and loss accountability and contract-managed service
- ServSafe certified is a plus
Job Duties
- full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving
- knowledge of profit and loss accountability and contract-managed service experience
- proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
- possess a passion for sustainability
- supervise and lead culinary staff and associates
- ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- maintain quality and presentation of all food items
