Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • minimum three years culinary management experience
  • experience in contract foodservice or fine dining or restaurant setting
  • strong knowledge of inventory, purchasing, and cost control
  • working knowledge of HACCP
  • ability to manage P&L responsibilities
  • passion for sustainability
  • excellent organizational and leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
  • extensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • experience with exposition cooking
  • knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Full culinary management of food service operation including inventory, ordering and receiving
  • knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience
  • proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
  • possess a passion for sustainability
  • uphold quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation standards
  • manage exposition cooking activities
  • maintain compliance with HACCP standards
