Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of culinary management experience
  • Proven experience in inventory management, purchasing and cost control
  • Ability to manage and lead a culinary team effectively
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for sustainability

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurants
  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, cost control and presentation
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • ServSafe certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience

Job Duties

  • Manage culinary and food service operations including inventory, ordering and receiving
  • Oversee menu development with a focus on cost control and sourcing local food products
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards including HACCP
  • Maintain P&L accountability and manage contract foodservice operations
  • Lead kitchen staff to deliver high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Implement sustainability practices within the culinary department
  • Collaborate with leadership to meet performance and operational goals
