Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years of culinary management experience
- Working knowledge of HACCP standards
- Experience with inventory and purchasing control
- Ability to manage P&L and food service operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to sustainability and food quality
Job Qualifications
- Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
- Must have a working knowledge of HACCP
- Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Experience with exposition cooking
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
- Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
- Possesses a passion for sustainability
- Ensures compliance with food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Leads and trains culinary team members to maintain high performance
- Manages budgeting and financial performance of the food service operation
