Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year management experience
  • 3 plus years of retail culinary management experience
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum education requirement high school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • 3 plus years of retail culinary management experience healthcare experience a plus
  • Proven success in leading teams and managing high-volume food operations
  • Strong knowledge of food safety sanitation and quality assurance practices
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A passion for hospitality innovation and enhancing the dining experience for patients visitors and staff

Job Duties

  • Serve as the culinary expert and manager for the new café concept featuring a 5-week cycle menu and diverse retail offerings
  • Lead and develop a team of 10 frontline hospital staff ensuring high standards of quality safety and customer service
  • Oversee daily operations including morning prep menu execution lunch service and ongoing retail support
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards ServSafe certification is highly desirable
  • Collaborate with hospital and Sodexo leadership to drive culinary innovation and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain operational flexibility with a schedule that may include occasional weekends or varied shifts
