Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years culinary management experience in a relevant setting
- Working knowledge of HACCP
- Experience with contract-managed food service desirable
- Passion for sustainability and local food sourcing
- Ability to manage food inventory and purchasing
- Strong organizational skills
- P&L accountability experience beneficial
- ServSafe certification a plus
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, nutrition, hospitality management, or related field preferred
- Minimum three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings
- Knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety protocols
- Experience with senior living food service operations
- Proven skills in menu development, cost control, and inventory management
- ServSafe certification considered a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Understanding of P&L accountability in food service environments
Job Duties
- Manage full culinary and food service operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
- Develop menus with a focus on cost control, sourcing local food products, and sustainability
- Oversee contract-managed service aspects and maintain P&L accountability
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP
- Lead and support food service teams to deliver high-quality food production and presentation
- Monitor and control food costs and purchasing activities
- Implement and uphold sanitation and safety procedures
