Job Requirements

- minimum of 5 years experience in culinary or kitchen management roles
- ability to work flexible hours including late evenings
- physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks and lift at least 20 pounds

- familiarity with local and sustainable food practices

Job Duties
- Manage daily kitchen operations including inventory tracking, ordering, and quality control
- monitor and achieve financial goals by controlling costs and optimizing labor hours
- train and oversee staff for proper food preparation, portion control, and cleanliness
- create efficient weekly staff schedules and delegate tasks to maximize productivity
- forecast business needs using sales data to adjust ordering, prep, and scheduling
- uphold high service standards through continuous staff training and vendor relationship management
- ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain kitchen facility equipment
