Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- culinary education or experience in high-volume fine dining or catering
- ability to work all events including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to lift and transport items up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
- ability to stand, reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull for extended periods
- must be able to read, speak and write English
- must work onsite at Jiffy Lube Live, Bristow, VA
- ability to interact with co-workers and guests effectively
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- professional culinary training or equivalent experience in high-volume, fast-paced dining environments
- experience in full-service casual dining or catering preferred
- ability to interact with co-workers to enforce service standards
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and guest service etiquette
- capability to multitask in a busy, team-oriented setting
- proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
Job Duties
- Set up and prepare all food items including opening and closing duties
- replenish and rotate stock as directed by management
- set up non-food items for shifts while maintaining high sanitation standards
- input daily event sheets and reports
- produce menu items in a timely manner according to company standards
- maintain work area cleanliness and proper food storage
- assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling event staff
- interact with guests and staff to ensure maximum guest satisfaction
- uphold comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage menu, specials, and services
- ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures
- collaborate as a team with associates and other service departments within the amphitheater
