Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • culinary education or experience in high-volume fine dining or catering
  • ability to work all events including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lift and transport items up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • ability to stand, reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull for extended periods
  • must be able to read, speak and write English
  • must work onsite at Jiffy Lube Live, Bristow, VA
  • ability to interact with co-workers and guests effectively

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • professional culinary training or equivalent experience in high-volume, fast-paced dining environments
  • experience in full-service casual dining or catering preferred
  • ability to interact with co-workers to enforce service standards
  • basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and guest service etiquette
  • capability to multitask in a busy, team-oriented setting
  • proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking

Job Duties

  • Set up and prepare all food items including opening and closing duties
  • replenish and rotate stock as directed by management
  • set up non-food items for shifts while maintaining high sanitation standards
  • input daily event sheets and reports
  • produce menu items in a timely manner according to company standards
  • maintain work area cleanliness and proper food storage
  • assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling event staff
  • interact with guests and staff to ensure maximum guest satisfaction
  • uphold comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage menu, specials, and services
  • ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures
  • collaborate as a team with associates and other service departments within the amphitheater
