Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline required
- Culinary industry experience preferred but not required
- Associate degree in Culinary Arts preferred but not required
- 1+ years of teaching experience (campus or online) preferred
- Completion of an accredited program in the instructional area plus 2 years of related work experience, or 5 years of direct industry experience
Job Duties
- Facilitate student learning and achievement of course outcomes
- Customize course content to enhance relevance and engagement (e.g., case studies, supplemental readings, industry examples)
- Guide discussions and respond to student inquiries within 24 hours
- Coach struggling students and collaborate with support staff to develop success plans
- Submit final grades by designated deadlines
- Participate in program meetings, faculty development workshops, and college-wide initiatives
- Integrate professional and industry experience into instruction and remain current on trends and opportunities
- Support academic operations, including accurate recordkeeping and collaboration with department leadership
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned
