Job Requirements

  • minimum of 3 years experience as a private chef or in a similar role
  • proficient culinary skills with an emphasis on california and healthy cuisine
  • ability to present food attractively and meet high presentation standards
  • capable of working 3-4 days per week with set breakfast and dinner times
  • willing to travel occasionally to san francisco
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • proven experience as a private chef or in a similar culinary role
  • expertise in california cuisine and healthy cooking techniques
  • strong skills in food presentation and plating
  • ability to plan and prepare meals for small groups
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • excellent time management and organizational skills
  • flexibility to travel when needed

Job Duties

  • prepare breakfast lunch and dinner according to principals preferences and dietary requirements
  • ensure presentation and plating standards are met for every meal
  • plan and execute healthy california style menus with fresh and seasonal ingredients
  • manage grocery shopping and kitchen inventory to maintain availability of quality products
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and culinary tools
  • travel with principals to san francisco and provide chef services as required
  • accommodate special dietary requests and adapt menus accordingly
