Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe certified
  • basic computer skills
  • at least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility
  • strong knowledge of food procedures
  • excellent customer service skills
  • team player dedicated to supporting team members
  • WB2 certification

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
  • coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance are achieved
  • assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
  • assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen
  • promote hospitality and excellent customer service in interactions with guests, families, and visitors
  • work closely with the Executive Chef to create and review menus
  • ensure meals are prepared in accordance with portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies
