Job Requirements

  • ServSafe certified
  • basic computer skills
  • at least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures
  • excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care
  • team player dedicated to doing what it takes to support team members and get the job done

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
  • coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance
  • assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
  • assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen
  • promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors
  • collaborate with Executive Chef to create and review menus
  • ensure meals are prepared in accordance with established portion control procedures and sanitary regulations
