Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of three years of quantity restaurant or corporate dining experience

  • Experience with scratch cooking and baking

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum of three years of quantity restaurant or corporate dining experience
  • Upscale culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to interpret written instructions to ensure quality, volume, and presentation of foods
  • Knowledge of and performance in food safety production, receiving, and storage practices

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of menu items including soups, roasts, casseroles, sauces, vegetables, salads, sandwiches, and bakery items using scratch cooking and baking techniques
  • Practice safe food handling techniques, maintain clean and organized work areas, and operate equipment following safety guidelines
  • Support menu management by following recipes, providing feedback, monitoring records, inventorying food storage, and assessing leftovers
  • Communicate with customers and servers, provide menu information, and respond promptly to questions and concerns
  • Cover responsibilities in the absence of the Chef Team Leader, adjust work location and tasks as needed throughout the day
