Job Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum three years of experience in quantity restaurant or corporate dining
- Preferred upscale culinary experience
- Ability to interpret written instructions for food quality, volume, and presentation
- Knowledge of food safety production, receiving, and storage practices
- Strong personal initiative and motivation
- Commitment to teamwork
- Excellent customer service skills

- Physical ability to perform essential job functions
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of menu items including soups, roasts, casseroles, sauces, vegetables, salads, sandwiches, and bakery items using scratch cooking and baking techniques
- Improve the quality and wellness of foods through research and testing of menu items
- Practice safe food handling, ergonomic, and personal safety techniques
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment including proper sanitation and equipment cleaning
- Support menu management by following recipes, providing feedback, managing portions, and maintaining accurate records
- Communicate effectively with customers and servers about menu items and preparation methods
- Cover Chef Team Leader responsibilities during their absence ensuring seamless operations
