Job Requirements

  • Sufficient culinary education and/or experience in institutional cooking
  • knowledge of food service sanitation regulations
  • experience with HACCP regulations
  • ability to read and write
  • First Aid certified or willing to obtain
  • clean background check

Job Duties

  • Prepare assigned and scheduled meals according to seasonal menu cycle or supervisor instructions
  • prepare menus following provided recipes
  • monitor and document food temperatures complying with health department regulations
  • perform daily documentation of refrigerator and freezer temperatures morning and evening
  • maintain order, discipline and safety within the kitchen at all times
  • adhere to all HACCP regulations in food handling and meal preparation
  • follow cleaning and sanitization guidelines rigorously
