Job Requirements

  • Sufficient culinary education and/or experience in institutional cooking
  • Knowledge of food services sanitation regulations
  • Understanding of and experience with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) regulations
  • Ability to read and write
  • First Aid certified or willingness to obtain
  • Clean background check
  • Three professional references

Job Duties

  • Prepare assigned or scheduled meals in accordance with seasonal menu cycle or as instructed by supervisor
  • Prepare menus according to provided recipes
  • Monitor and document food temperatures in accordance with health department regulations (hot/cold)
  • Daily documentation of refrigerator and freezer temperatures (AM and PM)
  • Maintain order, discipline and safety within the kitchen at all times
  • Follow all HACCP regulations in food handling and meal preparation
  • Follow and adhere to all cleaning and sanitization guidelines
