Job Requirements
- Minimum of ten years experience as Executive Chef with multiunit food and beverage operational experience in hotels, restaurants and country clubs
- Strong organizational skills to function effectively and attention to detail while meeting deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office productivity software (MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Overall knowledge of culinary trends, food quality and preparation
- Proven leadership in a complex environment with multiple direct reports
- Excellent culinary and food processing skills
- Experience in ordering, inventory maintenance, and shrink control
- Ability to maintain efficient operation and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Food Safety certification required
- Alcohol awareness and Serve Safe training certification required
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work flexible schedule including opening, closing, holidays and weekends

Job Duties
- Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of work for team members, guests, and products

- Inspire the restaurant team and guests with innovative recipes, creating new dishes and expanding offerings
- Set and reach aggressive sales and profit goals by encouraging sampling and managing shrink
- Drive profitability by partnering with catering teams and local businesses for corporate and community events
- Make innovative plans and suggestions to improve business plans through collaboration
- Responsible for total operation and financial results of restaurant, kitchen, Grab 'n Go case, and banquet facility
- Train and manage kitchen personnel, supervise and coordinate culinary activities
- Set budget, profitability, and earnings targets using forecasting methods
- Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
- Select and develop recipes for café specials and specialty events
- Standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality and presentation standards
- Plan and price menus, including recipe standardization, plating, and costing
- Ensure proper equipment operation, maintenance, safety, and sanitation in kitchen
- Directly supervise kitchen personnel including hiring, onboarding, development, performance, and discipline
- Maintain clean and sanitary work area in kitchen, walk-ins, and storage
- Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, garnishment, and presentation for quality assurance
- Build high-performing teams by established operating principles and conflict management
- Lead by example in collaboration, teamwork, and motivation
- Mentor team members and foster individual development ownership
- Develop successors and talent pools aligned with company strategy
