Job Requirements
- Associate degree or five or more years of related food service experience
- Over five years of experience in contract food service operations, high-level catering management, high-volume meals, and multi-unit experience
- Must provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination, exemptions available upon request
- Application and promotion of current food trends
- Proficiency and growing knowledge of sustainable practices
- Participative management style and excellent leadership skills
- Demonstrated experience cultivating talent and promoting an inclusive work environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Account and project management skills
- Knowledge of food safety (HACCP), sanitation, and general workplace safety standards
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment while fostering strong client relationships
- ServSafe food protection manager certification preferred

Job Duties
- Communicate daily with production staff about all food production activities
- Purchase organic and locally produced foods whenever possible and collaborate with production staff to incorporate these products into daily recipe and menu offerings
- Oversee menu development, purchasing, and production, incorporating the latest food trends and practices
- Ensure proper food temperatures are reached, maintained, and documented
- maintain daily records of food usage and storage/cooling organization and compliance with other regulations
- Lead by example
- engage and develop direct reports and team members through ongoing support, monitoring, coaching, and feedback
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while researching price variances
- Implement and maintain HACCP standards
- Maintain effective customer-focused relationships
- Provide high-end catering services
- Assist in internal financial planning phases, budget/cost analysis, and reporting to establish, monitor, and achieve operational and financial objectives
